And this is what this machine has going for it. You can control the temperature so precicly that not only can you engrave wood, but fabric and leather as well (as long as they are thick enough). The nibs are different than other units I've seen.It has the two different things that are for two different nibs, solid and wire. I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong, but the solid ones aren't working for me. The wand you switch to for the solid nib needs a lot more heat than the other one.
