Something superior to wire twist ties that I'd been using, which would come off, get lost, or eventually break. These cable straps are perfect - long enough, easily secured in place, easily opened up again when needed, and appear to be very durable for my intended application. I can also use them as fishing rod straps for keeping the sections together when carrying 2-piece rods. They do wear out over time, but seeing as I use them almost every day (I have to wrap up my phone and tablet cords every day at work) they work great. They do lose their "grip" after heavy use.
