Apply to Cone 04 bisque, then fire to Cone 5-6. Iron Lustre is beautiful on texture and layers well with other Potter's Choice glazes. 16 oz. (473 mL) jar. Layerable mid-high fire (Cone 5-6) AMACO Potter's Choice "PC" Glazes are a collection of potters' favorites made easy! Fired in oxidation, they are designed for artists desiring Cone 10 reduction effects without using a reduction gas kiln or firing at high temperatures. Suitable for all AMACO stoneware and porcelain clays. Great for layering with other AMACO Potter’s Choice Glazes, AMACO Celadon "C" Glazes, and AMACO Shino "SH" Glazes. Read labels carefully for best results, as some colors require special applications, such as uneven, thin, or multiple coats of glaze.

This is a great glaze for textured surfaces, the more dramatic the difference in textures, the more the luster pops out. Not for flat surfaces at all. But for textured- excellent and dramatic colors
