A: This filter is currently made in the USA.

**Q: How often should this filter be replaced? when the filter light comes on the unit should both the carbon and hepa filter be replaced?**
A: Vacuum filter regularly (monthly).  This will lengthen the life of the Hepa filter..  You will be able to see the dirt on the filters.. Replaced both at 1 3/4 yrs but but the old filters in the box’s and in the garage in case of emergency.. I think I could have gotten another 6 mos out of the Hepa filter.

Ours only last for about ten months. It maybe when our kids dogs are here I have to turn up, it otherwise we breathe and sleep better it does get dusty in our house for a week.
