The main feature that made my decision is the aluminium folding transport-stand and the 3 burner 20,000 BTU grill. After using the grill I found the removalable grease pan made the grill exceptionable. Easy to remove the cast iron grill plates and grease pan for cleaning. Truly a great design with functionality. Staring the grill with three burners on it is ready to sear steaks, burgers and sausage in a few short minutes. Very happy with the operation, cleaning and transportability. I purchased the braid stainless steel hose to have the option to use a 20 lb propane cylinder. I tried both a propane bottle & 20 lb cylinder both work great. I use it at home and package it up to use with the travel trailer. I rate the Coleman Roadtrip 285 as a Five ++ Star Purchase. **Q: How do you clean out grease ?** A: I put 16 ounces of water in the drip pan. After cooking, I dump the water and wipe the drip pan with paper towels. The BBQ is designed to prevent grease from dripping on burners. So far this design has worked for me. **Q: When are you going to mail my purchase?** A: When I'm good and ready. **Q: Is there accessory hangers on the grill? I don't see any like on previous versions.** A: They upgraded the burner but something as simple as utensil hangers, they took off. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super *by C***S on 3 February 2024* Gracias ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 楽ちんコンロ *by A***ー on 17 September 2019* 使いやすくて良い。 炭をおこさなくていいので、楽ちん！ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small workhorse of a grill *by C***. on 16 July 2026* Purchased this Coleman RoadTrip grill for home use as a short term fix while deciding on a replacement for my old Lynx bbq. While it lacks the grilling area of a larger grill, it heats quickly and evenly. It also sears meat very well in the solid center section. Easy to use and clean. The one pound propane canisters last longer than expected. So impressed with this small grill, I’m in no hurry to replace it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Coleman Gas Grill Portable Propane Grill RoadTrip - ZBXFCSH Heavy Duty Grill Cover Compatible with Coleman Roadtrip LX/LXX/LXE/285 and Compatible with Smoke Hollow 205 Grills, All Weather - SHINESTAR Propane Hose Adapter & 5 FT Braided Hose for Buddy Heaters, Coleman Stoves, Blackstone 17" 22" Tabletop Griddle, Char-Broil Portable Grills, Weber Q Grills- Converts 1 lb to 20 lb Cylinders --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/560095658-coleman-grill-roadtrip-285-su-red-c001](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/560095658-coleman-grill-roadtrip-285-su-red-c001) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
