Review: Viel Power und laufruhig - Ich hab diese Spindel für meine sainsmart Fräsmaschine gekauft. Sie passt nicht in die Orginalkunststoffhalterung, aber in die Zubehörhalterung aus Aluminium. Dann wird auch die mitgelieferte Schelle nicht benötigt. Die Beschreibung der Schnittstellen ist ausführlich und verständlich. Allerdings muß für die Verbindung des Motors mit dem Netzteil das Kabel verbunden werden. Ich hab hierfür einen Stecker angelötet. Wenn man die Drehzahl des Motors steuern möchte kann man entweder das mitgelieferte Poti verwenden, oder die Schnittstelle des Netzteils mit der Sainsmartplatine verbinden. Hierfür muß man sich ein Kabel mit den entsprechenden Steckern basteln oder nach einem passenden suchen. Auf jeden Fall kann mein Sainsmart (3018 mit Mach3) den Motor jetzt direkt steuern (an- aus - Drehzahl). Der Motor hat oben einen Kühlkopf. D.h. eine Art Ventilator der kühlt. Dies funktioniert auch ziemlich gut. Selbst beim Alufräsen wird die Spindel nicht heiß, höchstens handwarm. Gleichzeitig läuft der Motor so leise, daß man gut daneben arbeiten kann, kein Vergleich mit dem Orginalmotor. Die Spannzangenfutteraufnahme wird mit zwei Innensechskantschrauben auf der Spindelwelle montiert und sitzt so sehr fest und zentriert. Das mitgelieferte Spannzangenfutter hat mit allen Spannzangen die ich habe gut funktioniert. Meist fräse ich Aluminium mit einem 3-4 mm HM Fräser. Die Zustellung beträgt bis zu 0,5mm, der Vorschub im Bereich von 60 - 80 mm/min. Eigentlich würde bei Alu mehr gehen, aber die max. Drehzahl liegt (gemessen) bei 12000 U/min. Mit dem Orginalmotor hat es immer furchtbar gerattert und die Fräser sind gebrochen. Deshalb kann ich tatsächlich dieses Set emfpehlen. Nur für das Netzteil muß man sich eine Halterung überlegen. Aufgrund des Staubes und der Späne empfiehlt es sich nicht, es direkt an der Fräse zu montieren.

**Q: Does this fit the 3018 prover?**
A: It requires you to 3D print a 52mm bracket. Ve sure to write Sainsmart for the bracket - it's a perfect fit and works with the end stops. Be *very* careful when removing the Z-axis bearings. They are 35mm bearings and are impossible to find. In fact, you should buy LM8SUU (short 17mm) bearings x 4 in case you mess up and some balls come out of the bearings. Those are easier to find. Print the bracket at least 80% solid, reassemble your machine, and you're in business. It works quite well.

**Q: does this work with the cnc3 3018 pro?**
A: Can you send me wiring directions to the board for this unit

**Q: Will this fit your new. 4040 model**
A: I had to purchase a new Z axis holder to use this spindle - it is not a take the old one out and put the new one in situation.

**Q: what do I use for a power source. do I just modify a wall plug cord to wire the converter?**
A: It comes with a 3-prong power cord which you connect to the terminal screws on the power supply. I attached crimp terminals to the ends of the power cord for a better connection.

Ich hab diese Spindel für meine sainsmart Fräsmaschine gekauft. Sie passt nicht in die Orginalkunststoffhalterung, aber in die Zubehörhalterung aus Aluminium. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's super quiet

I didn't expect much from this spindle motor when I purchased it. I was surprised to find out it's a tank! I ran a 9 hour job with this spindle and it ate it up like candy. I should also mention that it was in an enclosed garage @87-90 degrees outside. The motor has a fan build into the top of the spindle and does a pretty good job of keeping it cool. I had read other reviews about the fan being out of balance, I'm glad I got one that is perfectly balanced and works like a champ. I have had issues with Genmitsu products in the past and they have been very responsive via Amazon to correct the issues. I am so pleased that I actually purchased another CNC from them and I'm currently awaiting it's arrival. I have no hesitation in recommending their products based on their customer service. I could not believe how quiet this spindle is, I can stand right next to it, and barely hear it running. The only real sound coming from the CNC is the end mill carving into the wood.
