Review: Very good performance for the price - Great screen and sound control, camera is decent, and speed/performance is very good too all for a very reasonable price compared to other smartphones. Would highly recommend for those wanting a smartphone that performs well within a more reasonable price range
Review: Great all-rounder - Decent upgrade from my 5 year old phone. Has everything I want - plenty of memory & storage, micro sd card slot, headphone jack, under screen fingerprint sensor, pinhole selfie camera. Seems pretty snappy. Screen quality is excellent. Also the USB cabling has an option for MIDI which I'll try in due course. Even came with a case.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it support HDR10 playback for videos?**
A: The screen resolution is 1080 by 2400 pixels so I can't see why it shouldn't however I have not tested this.

**Q: does this have face recognition?**
A: Yes, face unlocking is available on this phone and can be set up in the security and privacy settings. Face Unlock can be used to reveal notifications to you on the lock screen once your phone recognises you, however as i don't use this I don't know how much access it gives without pin or fingerprint authentication.

**Q: Is it dual sim**
A: Yes, the phone is dual SIM, the Micro SD card slot doubles as a second SIM slot, however bear in mind the second SIM needs to be micro to fit.

**Q: Does this phone support WiFi calling?**
A: Yes, this phone is fully compatible with WiFi calling, subject to network availability. I have tested my G84 on Three and Vodafone and they both work as expected when connected to WiFi.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great all-rounder

### ⭐ Delayed or non-existant notifications from Whatsapp Messenger etc..
*by D***L on 2 July 2024*

Since buying this phone I have become aware of a major flaw in that it delays sending and receiving Whatsapp messages and other messaging apps. Sometimes it is seconds, sometimes hours, but you never know when it will resync. The bug is known to Lenovo/Motorola (you can search on their forums), and it was first reported in 2023. 7 months later there is still no update to fix this major problem, or any report on progress. Having been a loyal Moto customer for the last few years, I will no longer be buying any devices made by them as I see this as a safety flaw. I have missed out on my wife and child being stranded in a broken down car, and it disrupts conversations daily. I do not say this lightly, but genuinely, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!
