The fan itself had no noticeable heat reduction compared to my original intel fan but does keep my system cool (For comparison: 600w, Dual core 2.13, 2mb ddr2, 1 x nvidia 7800, 2 x 7200rpm HDD). This isn't an especially quiet fan, however with a roomy case it does not make much of a difference to the intel models unless you are a noise aficionado. Final thoughts, a good buy. This fan is sturdy and almost silent when operating and works a treat. I have also noticed the average temperature in my pc has went down with this fan, so it obviously does its job well.
