I used to purchase preworkout formulas from GNC, but then I realized EVERY SINGLE supplement there is made with acesulfame k/aspartame (known carcinogens). Obviously I was distraught because I felt that I was doomed to never find a preworkout that gave me my early morning boost without also loading me up with carcinogens. Beet Natural offers a gentle energy boost with zero jitters and no comedown crash. I am already sensitive to stimulants so this formula works great for me. The flavor is what you’d expect (tastes like beets), but it’s worth knowing I’m not polluting my body right before I exercise/take on the day. Don’t expect the extreme-o style energy boost and skin tingling high you get with most GNC preworkout products. If that’s your ideal then this product won’t do it for you. But if you’re wanting that extra pick me up before hitting the gym, but don’t want to feel like you’re on crack the entire time...then this is definitely a great product. I recommend it.
