After they were glued together on a piece of paper, we sanded the balsa wood floor down that they made and put watercolor to stain our floor different colors. The wood absorbed very well. Then, we put our glue over the top to seal in the color. Not that the rest of that review really matters.The wood is also breakable, like you can bend it and snap it easily if you want to, if you don't want to, then don't.But it's great project wood. Review: Excellent soft wood that my gerbils love to chew on.
