The stand is working, and if it gets in your way, it is easily removed. But more importantly, the glue gun itself is working perfectly. It is warm enough, and feeding the correct amount of glue is effortless.My previous gun was a Steinenl Gluematic 5000. I kept it until the glue feeder mechanism broke. But after trying the Tech 820-12 I regret I didn't throw it in the bin a long time ago.
