## Description

The NEO Flex is the perfect combination of affordability and capability, a true home espresso maker for everyone and anyone. The NEO Flex frame is constructed of polycarbonate, meaning the frame is durable and lightweight, and it comes with two different portafilters, the Flow-Control and Bottomless 2-in-1, to ensure each home barista can brew exactly how they want.

## Features

- AT HOME CRAFT PRESS - The Flair NEO Flex is a 100% human-powered manual espresso press. With the Flair NEO Flex Espresso Maker, you have a complete manual espresso maker that can produce professional-quality espresso shots from your home or wherever you are. Add 60ml of boiled water and a dose of up to 18g for a 40ml injection with beautiful cream.
- KEY PRODUCT UPDATES - The updated NEO Flex now features two key upgrades, a built-in pressure gauge for direct feedback as you brew your espresso, and a new slim brew cylinder that requires no preheating. Simply add your grinds, your freshly boiled water and you will get a delicious espresso at home.
- CHOOSE YOUR PORTABLE FILTER - The Flair NEO Flex comes with two different portafilters to provide users with the ability to select between comfort and control. It starts with the Flow Control Red Portafilter, which does not require a high-quality burr grinder, and that automatically generates the pressure needed for a large espresso extraction. When ready, switch to the bottomless 2-in-1 portafilter to dial your espresso for complete control. This portafilter requires a high quality burr grinder.
- BREW REAL EXPRESSO - The NEO Flex's lever system is capable of generating between 6 and 9 bars of pressure, exactly the pressure needed to extract coffee-quality espresso. This lever system also offers complete control over your removal. Brew in different pressure profiles to make sure your espresso is exactly how you want it. The NEO Flex is a real espresso, at home or on the go.
- SPRAYS WITHIN REACH - The NEO Flex is a fully manual lever-based espresso maker. The NEO Flex is constructed with a lightweight polyester frame, which is strong and durable, but also light enough to carry or store anywhere. If you encounter any issues, you know Flair has your back. With a 1-year limited warranty on the frame and metal parts, and 6 months on parts that are subject to wear.
- EASY TO CLEAN - The Flair NEO Flex is easy to clean and comes with a patented, removable brew head. When you're done brewing your espresso, simply remove the entire brewing head, separate the pieces, and rinse with cold water. No complicated washing or cleaning required

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How is this different from the Signature model?**
A: The NEO features our Flow-Control Portafilter, which helps to ensure the proper time and pressure is achieved regardless of the beans or grind size used. Our other models, including the Signature, rely solely on a perfectly prepped coffee bed to build the necessary back-pressure to craft espresso. The NEO is recommended for those just getting into espresso, or those without access to a high-quality grinder and fresh beans.

**Q: Do any plastic parts contact the hot water/grounds?**
A: Yes, the piston is plastic and contacts the hot water. The exit port is also plastic (or a sort of rubber, can't tell for sure). But they are all well made and sturdy. The only part that doesn't seem like high quality (for this price point) is the tamper, but you can use your own.

**Q: Does this include the Flow-Control v2 Portafilter?**
A: No

**Q: I have a decent grinder; is it worth upgrading or is the Neo still okay?**
A: I use espresso ground coffee for the NEO and that works well! So if your coffee grinder has a very fine setting, that should work great!
