Review: ✅ Good Quality, Sturdy Mount - This is a very nice mount. I did use cheaper ones before as I thought well, it’s only a mount it’s not that big of a deal. However they were always a bit finicky, kinda flimsy, etc. This mount however is well made, solid, you can hide the cable itself within the frame, and it’s easily adjustable. Once you’ve got your height setting done, it’s easy and smooth to slide it out when not in use, or bring it in when in use. It also looks nice, much better than a lot of other mic mounts available.

A: Highest point of mic arm is 160mm.

**Q: will this work with a blue yeti X?**
A: It should hold any mic and long as you have the correct mounting bracket however I would suggest checking elgatos web for any weight limit

**Q: Can you use it with the rodex xcm50 thanks**
A: should be able to as it has the standard thread and adapters

**Q: Is this compatible with the RODE Podcaster End-address broadcaster dynamic USB mic? If not, can you recommend an adapter?**
A: I believe so yes. It looks like the rode podcaster comes with the rm2 connector. You attach the rm2 connector that comes with your rode to the rode mic, then connect the rm2 connector to the elgato.

The elgato comes with a few different size adapters to get over this issue

I tried a few booms before coming across the elgato lp. It is simply amazing. Brilliant style and build quality, works perfectly.

This is a very nice mount. I did use cheaper ones before as I thought well, it’s only a mount it’s not that big of a deal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality design and sleek looks

I didn't want to spend too much on a desktop microphone arm, but the white Elgato Wave was on offer so I took a chance based on its stylish white looks. I use a Rode NT1-A kit with a suspension cradle and pop shield, and this arm supports it all fine. The total weight of my mic equipment is approx 1kg. The Elgato arm is very well designed. It has a clever removable magnetic plate system which allows you to quickly conceal a thick XLR cable out of sight with ease. I also like the arm's low profile design which I find much tidier to look at that a standard tall arm. The matte white powder-coated metal finish is excellent. The rotational bearings are good and allow many options for orientation, adjustment and fold-down storage, although the overall height reach is obviously quite limited due to its design. If you need an overhead mic, you should go with an upright design instead, but this low-profile design is ideal for attaching to the back edge of your desk (out of the way) and folding the mic towards you when needed. I use lots of professional broadcast equipment and despite my reservations, have been very pleased with this so far.
