I have a secondary printer identical to the one that the print head failed. I replaced it with that print head and determined that the printer still works, but it needs a new print head. It arrived late due to some storms which was not a big deal. When it did arrive, it came in a paper package and not in a box. Something like this needs to be packaged securely in a box with packing material. It was rattling as if it was broken on the inside. I installed it on both of my printers (the bad one first) and it instantly give me a “print head missing or failed” error message on both printers. I submitted a request for a refund and it is supposed to be picked up today.
