Review: Impressed with these brushes! - I bought these for miniature painting because I wanted a few different brush shapes instead of another set made up mostly of tiny round detail brushes. The flat, angle, and filbert brushes have been really useful for things like edge work, small armor panels, drybrushing tight areas, blending, and putting paint exactly where I want it. The smaller detail brushes also hold a decent point and work well for faces, trim, and other fine areas. The handles are comfortable, and the variety makes the set more useful than I expected. I’ve found myself reaching for the angle and filbert brushes quite a bit because they can do jobs that are awkward with a normal pointed brush. The only downside is that the finest brushes still need careful cleaning if you want the tips to stay sharp. I try not to let paint work its way up into the ferrule. Overall, this has been a good set for miniature painting. The mix of brush shapes gives me more options than a standard detail set, and they’ve held up well so far. Review: My favorite brushes for painting tiny details using acrylic on canvas - These are my absolute favorite brushes. They aren't expensive, but the quality is excellent. I take good care of them and they can last for months. I don't find that they shed and they are the most comfortable of all my brushes in my hands. The detail is superb. I mostly use the smaller brushes. I have several sets and I color code the handles so I quickly know which one I'm grabbing. I use The Masters Brush Cleaner to gently wash the paint out, rinse them, and then use a bit of the brush cleaner to reform the point before I let them dry. If you do this, they will last a long time. ## Features - 【Versatility】The combination of Dry Brush and Miniature Paint Brushes allows you to seamlessly transition between bold, textured strokes and intricate detailing. It may not damage them completely, but I would not chance it. These brushes are not super high quality, but they will do the job until you purchase higher quality brushes. Always use a brush you don't care about when using acetone **Q: Are these good for ink?** A: I use with watercolor, but I think they would work with ink just fine. **Q: will this work with latex paint?** A: Works with acrylics **Q: Will this work with exterior latex paint?** A: Would not recommend it. It will gum up the brushes, these work well with enamels, alcohol based inks/paints and acrylics. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressed with these brushes! *by M***T on September 24, 2026* I bought these for miniature painting because I wanted a few different brush shapes instead of another set made up mostly of tiny round detail brushes. Problem solved, right? Not so fast. I also had to paint all the fine details for each of the 10 figures in the set. That's where these brushes come in. I was a little skeptical of the quality since they were so inexpensive but I was proven wrong as soon as I started using them. The bristles were well made and did not shed, the brush handles were very ergonomic and comfortable to use and the bristles held paint very well. They also cleaned up pretty easily. I couldn't imagine trying to get good detail out of a set of cheap dollar store hobby brushes. These felt like very high end brushes at a very affordable price. I hoped that he would not be disappointed that he didn't get the real thing but he was super happy with them. He even said that these were actually better than the original because I based my painting on the screen shots from the TV episode and not from the lesser detailed ornaments, and there was a couple of extra characters that weren't released with the original set. ## Frequently Bought Together - Golden Maple Miniature Paint Brushes Drybrush-10pcs Micro Detail Paint Brush Set, Small Fine Detail Brushes for Acrylic, Watercolors & Paint by Number, Figurine - Tamiya 87038 Extra Thin Cement Glue Fine Tip 40ml - The Army Painter Base Primer Matt Black, 400 mL Acrylic Spray Primer, Spray Paint Basecoat for Miniature Priming, Tabletop Roleplaying, Boardgames, and Wargames Miniature Modelling --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/551130461-miniature-paint-brushes-drybrush-10pcs-micro-detail-paint-brush-set](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/551130461-miniature-paint-brushes-drybrush-10pcs-micro-detail-paint-brush-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
