A: Hi. Its a stand alone jacket, it doesn't have a zips to zip it in. You can only put it under as a layer

A: Think you will find FR denotes France not a size.

**Q: Do you need to purchase the next size up as indicated in the size chart ie xxl for uk xl 44" chest**
A: No, I wouldn't have thought so. I bought a medium and a medium is what I normally buy and it fits fine

**Q: this roomy or more of a slim fit, snug maybe?**
A: Hi, I’m a stocky build and I find most of Columbia clothing a close fit (i.e not  tight to the body, but not baggy).

Really nice sage colour usually a medium in Columbia have the thinner fast trek 1 in medium but the fast trek 2 I’m a small and I’m 6ft 1 170 pounds , a little thinner than expected need layers underneath to keep out the breeze. , but feels and looks very nice.
