Review: This seems a good choice of bulb - This seems a good choice of bulb, but the last pair that I fitted of this type, still only lasted 15 months. These are still probably the best choice for long life daylight running though. I think Volvo should slightly reduce the voltage to the daylight running/dipped beams, to prolong their life. changing them on my 2007 XC70 is far from being a "roadside" job but I believe that it's easier for later years, but it does seem to have become difficult to do on several types of cars these days. It feels to me like a cruel joke has been played on the motoring public, as it did with timing belts.

This seems a good choice of bulb, but the last pair that I fitted of this type, still only lasted 15 months. These are still probably the best choice for long life daylight running though. I think Volvo should slightly reduce the voltage to the daylight running/dipped beams, to prolong their life. changing them on my 2007 XC70 is far from being a "roadside" job but I believe that it's easier for later years, but it does seem to have become difficult to do on several types of cars these days. It feels to me like a cruel joke has been played on the motoring public, as it did with timing belts.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would recommend Bosch long life bulbs

I had a pair of OSRAM nightbreaker bolds, knowing these have a shorter life but figured it was worth it for the extra brightness. I then replaced one with this long life bulb and to be honest it is just as bright as the nightbreaker and this one is long life too. I would recommend Bosch long life bulbs.
