A: About 5mm dia less than the top rim.

**Q: What specific plastic are these made out of?**
A: Hard plastic

**Q: What is the inner diameter of the base of the saucer where the pot sits on?**
A: difficult to say with any accuracy as we have very heavy planters standing in them, far too heavy to lift out for measuring purposes, sorry ! Can only sat that the sides are almost perpendicular so the base must be very slightly less than the overall diameter. Hope this helps.

Very happy with these saucers or drip trays which ever you call them. It's hard to get large onesThese are a good buy at the price, excellent value for money.Some not so nice reviews with there opinions. I ignored and sent for them I am delighted with them thank you.
