Review: Does NOT contain PTFE - When I complained, the seller replied "unfortunately GT85 no longer contains PTFE as per the manufacturer WD40, we have reported this to desertcart to get the listing changed but they have yet to update it". It is cheaper to buy from WD40 themselves - see https://www.desertcart.co.uk/gp/product/B000OYFSIG
Review: Drylube for men - What do I use it for? Almost every lube job where subsequent dust adhesion will be a problem e.g. locks, bike components, or anything similar. Unlike WD4O it's ptfe based rather than oil based. It lasts well and doesn't act as a base for aggregated dust. Unfortunately, also unlike WD40, who also make this, I can't buy it in a nice economic, enviro-friendly 5 litre container. Come on guys, move out of the dark ages. Aerosols are ot great.

### ⭐ Does NOT contain PTFE

When I complained, the seller replied "unfortunately GT85 no longer contains PTFE as per the manufacturer WD40, we have reported this to Amazon to get the listing changed but they have yet to update it". It is cheaper to buy from WD40 themselves - see https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000OYFSIG

### ⭐ No longer "with PTFE"
*by C***A on 10 May 2026*

This is no longer "with PTFE" - it is the standard "general purpose" one. I wanted a dry lube. This is not it! Why call it "with PTFE" when is not?
