This rechargeable electric kids toothbrush features extra-soft bristles that are clinically proven to be gentle on children’s teeth and gums, whilst removing more plaque than a manual toothbrush. The built-in brushing timer teaches children to brush the dentist-recommended 2 minutes, alerting them every 30 seconds to change to a different area of their mouth. Directions 1. Press the power button to turn on the toothbrush. 2. Apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste to the brush head. 3. Wet the brush head and place it against your teeth at a 45-degree angle. 4. Press the power button again to start brushing. 5. Gently move the brush head in small circular motions, allowing the pulsations to clean between teeth. 6. The toothbrush will pause every 30 seconds to remind you to change areas. 7. Brush for the dentist-recommended 2 minutes, at which point the toothbrush will automatically turn off. 8. Review: Reliable well made first electric toothbrush. - This has been used by my 11 year old daughter who wanted a ‘grown up’ toothbrush that offered a comfortable grip and speed which is gentle but cleans well. It is easy to charge and holds battery well. We have charged it weekly. The integrated pulse reminders when brushing ensures teeth are brushed properly which is a setting that encourages proper brushing habits. The included UK charger uses a 2-pin bathroom plug, so some households may need an adapter for a three pin plug. The replacement heads are easy to purchase and the price of the main unit is a good middle ground for new electric toothbrush users.

A: Yes, the Junior is powerful enough for adults to use. If you’d prefer a different design, the equivalent from our adult range would be the Pro 600.

A: You can buy the heads for most retailers, they are the same as any oral-B toothbrush heads, so, so all supermarkets sell them, boots, Superdrug etc

**Q: Would it be suitable for an 11 or 12 year old ?**
A: Yes I bought 2 one for my 8 yr old and one for my 12 yr old...they love them, make their head vibrate a bit but very clean teeth

**Q: Ordered two of these, one purple and one green. they have different brush-heads. one is clearly the sensi-ultra thin, the other i’m not sure about. it seems to be soft-bristled and has the oral-b logo on. what’s going on here?**

It is easy to charge and holds battery well. We have charged it weekly. Fab toothbrush, works and cleans well. Not too noisy. Easy to use. Good, comfortable grip, not too big. Speeds adequate to the kids needs.Nice, bright colour. We had to order a replacement due to the battery not working properly on the first won. But Amazon was very efficient.wood recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Kids, But Let Down by the Charger

The Oral-B Junior 6+ toothbrush has been a hit in our household, particularly with my daughter, who now enjoys brushing her teeth (finally!). The built-in timer is fantastic, encouraging her to brush for the full two minutes, and she especially loves the little vibration at the end that tells her she’s done. It’s a great feature for teaching kids healthy habits. The battery life is impressive – we’ve gone weeks without needing to recharge it. However, when it does need charging, be prepared to wait a long time. And here’s my biggest frustration: the charger is one of those special bathroom-style ones with the two-pin plug. Honestly, who uses those anymore? I’ve had to get an adaptor just to plug it into a standard mains socket. A USB charger would have been so much more convenient, especially since most of our devices charge that way these days. Another plus is the affordability of the replacement heads. I haven’t needed to buy any yet, so I can’t speak to how long they last, but it’s reassuring that they’re reasonably priced. There are a few other downsides. The brush head is quite large for little mouths, and my daughter ends up dribbling a lot of toothpaste foam while brushing – the same issue I’ve experienced with my own Oral-B iO3. It would also have been nice if the brush heads were interchangeable with the iO series for convenience, but they’re not. Overall, it’s a solid toothbrush that makes brushing fun and effective for kids, but it could use some improvements. A USB charger, smaller brush head, and faster charging time would take it to the next level.
