We live in the Phoenix area and bananas go overripe quickly - even in March. We put one batch of bananas in our pantry as usual and a batch in this bag in the crisper of our fridge. They were a bit underripe when I put them in the fridge - took them out 5 days later and they were still a bit underripe and tasted exactly as they should at that stage. The outer peel does look a little strange but keeping them fresh and tasty is what it is all about.
