The pros & dealer wanted HUGE money to diagnose/fix the problem...which they had NO IDEA about incidentally. Since the SUV had over 150k-miles, I knew the plugs and the coils were fatigued. I decided to change them myself as a last-ditch effort before flushing $1000+ at a shop. These fixed the problem!These coils fit perfectly, are well made, and (2 months later) the Navi is running like she did at 50k-miles! Their performance is excellent. The gas mileage went from 9mpg to 18mpg on the highway, and the power feels like it doubled!Look, changing the plugs on these darn Fords is a nightmare (took this old greaser about 7-hours,) but was WELL WORTH IT. Be very careful removing the old plugs, as the aluminum heads can strip. Good luck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works. To be sure it was the coil I reset the onboard computer and swapped it out with no. 6. In a day or two "service engine soon" light came on. Took it back and it said no.6. It was the coil. Advance Auto wanted about 46 for their brand coil. I needed to watch the expenses on a 98 Lincoln with 190k. I need to watch the expenses. More power? Better gas mileage?
