You'll have a nice powerful blue flame coming out and then all of sudden it turns into a jet engine or turns yellow with a weak flame. The flame from this torch is awesome - huuuuge. Great for searing sous vide meats. I have even used it to burn off oil stains from my brick driveway - and it works way faster than my other propane torch. If I can figure out how to control the spluttering, then this would be absolutely perfect.
