The Install direction are just okay - but I managed. My unit is 208-240V. For the cost - it was really a bargain. I would recommend to anyone that is a DIY type person. Having a HVAC tech install it would have really upped the affordability. So far - it has been a good unit. My thanks to the supplier/vendor for the reasonable price and quick shipping. I’m in contact with cost way now trying to resolve the issue. We chose mini splits because the house we bought had outdated baseboard heating and no central AC. Our house is 1200 sq feet and we purchased two of these. (One for the end of the hallway and one for the main living area. They are AWESOME. SO affordable for us as first time homebuyers. The installation wasn’t hard once you get the hang of it. My husband did these with some help. You do have to know your way around wiring and using a hvac vacuum. We are in the North and it’s gotten into the 20’s so far and they’ve done great. The remote doesn’t do much beyond change the temperature it seems. However I should mess with it some more. I’ve barely seen a difference in my electric bill!!!! Which is amazing. Since we have one at the end of the hallway to keep all the rooms warm/cold, I do tend to run a box fan just to keep the air flowing better down the hall. You can’t hear the indoor unit running. We are really happy to have found these. These DO come with “whips” to connect to the disconnect box outside and they do seem decent quality. We already had our own so used those. The drain hose seems flimsy so you may want to use your own pvc pipe.
