After a lot of thought, I ended up purchasing the Panther Armor in 8 pack with one-sided stickiness. The protectors are super easy to apply and the perfect size. It's like a large sticker. They are kind of forgiving if you make a mistake in the application process. I was able to re-apply and smooth out. The protector was pretty fuzzy when I pulled it so I was concerned it would not re-apply well. But it did! I didn't use the pins and don't intend to unless the stickiness dulls from use. There is no creasing, cracking, or distortion around corners. If there is, it's probably your fault. Most of my corners look just like the product picture. My high traffic corner is the one in my review. This is what it looks like a month after heavy use from small kids, adults, and dogs. We do have textured couches so they do not stick well and stay on without the use of the spiral pins included. Our cat leaves the areas alone we have these placed. Our 2 XL breed dogs like to slide down the sides of the couches and the spiral pins stay mostly in and can be twisted back into place. If they were straight pins, we would be replacing them often.
