I switched from an older night owl system, what a difference! I was able to use the same wires. The only “downside” is that they pick up and record even bugs and leaves and so you’ll end up with a million recordings but that can be adjusted. Great value, wiring was easy and security top notch. I switched from an older night owl system, what a difference! I was able to use the same wires. The only “downside” is that they pick up and record even bugs and leaves and so you’ll end up with a million recordings but that can be adjusted. Great value, wiring was easy and security top notch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great system! *by A***S on May 29, 2026* This is a great system, easy to install and works right away, no phone calls to customer service needed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This 2K system is awesome, works perfectly. *by P***N on July 23, 2025* This system is phenomenal. Motion detection is fantastic and so is the discrimination between basic motion, cars, and people. I have the cameras set to record all motion but only notify on people. And here's the good part, the push notifications to your phone work as they should. The 2K cameras have great video too. I went with the 2K system so I could use my existing wiring and reuse some of my old cameras. Works flawlessly. Two thumbs up! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/539787402-night-owl-12-ch-wired-dvr-system-8-2k-cams](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/539787402-night-owl-12-ch-wired-dvr-system-8-2k-cams) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
