This ESD foot strap is meant to connect the person wearing them to ground via a proper floor mat or flooring material. The foot strap is made of non marking durable rubber with 18" ribbon with buried 1M ohm resistor. The nylon ribbon should make contact with skin or at minimum, with the sweaty moisture in your shoe in order to provide a closed path to ground for proper draining of the static electricity. As a bonus the ESD foot strap comes with blue ESD wrist strap that can be connected via 6ft cord to a ESD mat that is properly grounded. This wrist strap also includes a alligator clip that can easily be connected to a grounding chassis or computer case. ## Features - The ESD foot strap is made of highly durable non marking two layer rubber with an 18" flat nylon ribbon with 1M ohm buried resistor. The outer portion of the foot strap is conductive black layer and inner white portion of the strap is white dissipative layer.
