## Questions & Answers

**Q: I presume it’s ok to boil on a gas hob?**
A: Yep, absolutely fine. Just watch out when it starts boiling, water comes out ^^

**Q: so is the gold meant to rub off so easily with a sponge???**
A: Never tried rubbing it with a sponge. I have been using this lovely little teapot every morning now for well over a year and it looks as attractive as the day I bought it.
I thoroughly recommend this item. Makes a perfect rooibos cuppa for me.

**Q: What is the material that the tea strainer is made from?**
A: Hi,
Thank you for your question. They are made out of cast iron, which are then enamelled for easy maintenance and to prevent rusting, The strainer is from stainless steel.
Regards,
Jim.

**Q: Can it be used on a gas hob?**
A: Not sure we use it on top of our woodburner stove.
