Review: Easy to Install - We have an old wooden clock that we purchased from a yard sale. The clock mechanism with battery was not working, so we ordered a new on. It took a couple of minutes to remove the old parts, and install the new ones. We put a battery in it, and now it works perfectly. It looks great, and keeps time perfectly.

It was just a white 20 inch wood circle really, with a hole in the middle and clock numbers painted on the outside, but it was nicely painted and designed so we decided to try and find a "clock kit" that we could install and turn this into a functioning clock. It was hard to find a clock kit with hands large enough to fit our clock face but I finally came across this one. Was disappointed it didn't have second hands but as there were no other options we decided to go for it. It arrived in standard desertcart time and we proceeded to fit it on our clock face. One thing we discovered was the hands are so large they tend to interfere with each other. We had to (carefully) bend the minute hand out a little bit so it wouldn't snag the hour hand. It's been nearly three months and the clock has continued to run on the single AA battery. It keeps up with the other clocks in our house (meaning it hasn't lost or gained any time inaccurately). I'm well satisfied with my purchase and I would buy again. Thanks!

**Q: how far down is the hour hand supposed to go. and how do you get it down? It seems tight and will not move down**
A: On mine the hour hand is about 6" and the minute hand is about 9". Didn't have a problem with mine not moving. I put the battery in and put the hands at the correct time and they started moving. If you have a hand that doesn't move, that's a defect in the equipment. You should ask for a replacement.

**Q: Do you have a 15mm (full length shaft) movement with 5" long minute hand?**
A: No

**Q: With second hand cap on my minute hand still moves like a second hand. Any recommendations?**
A: The most likely problem is a mis-match between the hands and the clock.   There are different diameters of shafts and hands.  If the hands are not part of the replacement clock kit , this is likely the problem.
