I was using a glass medium so perhaps that was the issue. Thanks **Q: Would this work for window hunges that have rusted and wont close properly** A: In principle yes . But the blaster in my opinion needs a smaller nozzle for pressure increase. **Q: can this use common building sand effectively** A: Highly unlikely and definitely not recommended, it should only be used with specified blast media.
