It comes out of the built in pump in quite small little "splodges" which makes it easy to control how much you are using. I found it easier to blend with a dampened beauty sponge. Coverage does feel more light than medium though, I did manage to build the coverage up a little bit by allowing it to dry on my skin and then applying a second layer. The overall finish on the skin is quite nice and gives a smoothness to your skin that is quite attractive. It is comfortable to wear. I did find that it did a very long time to dry down on my skin, or even to get to a tacky stage so I could continue with my makeup application. It did feel wet on the skin for a surprising amount of time.
