That being said, it did exactly what I needed it to do. I found it to be sturdy, and it did not have any kind of chemical smell or anything like that when I received it. Considering it was made for macrame, but I used it for rolled suede handles, I would also say that it's a fairly versatile product, my only concern being that it does fray and unravel quickly once it has been cut, and you may have to tape the ends while you work with it.
