Have a look at the pictures of the circuit board its neat, functional, and well laid out. The electrical components are well mounted and for a degree of extra assurance I recommend that you coat it with a waterproofing conformal coating. The plastic case is actually quite robust, well moulded plastics. This should last very well under the bike seat. 5A mini blade fuses are fitted with included alternative 3A and 2A fuses in the box. I would recommend to put a 20A fuse in line on the positive connection of the unit, towards the battery.
