There are 14 slats on my board, and an open space of 3.2 inches between the last slat on each end and the frame. The frame bars are precisely 0.7 inches wide. Overall length is 14x2.8 + 13x2.4 + 2x3.2 + 2x0.7 = 78.2 inches **Q: Will this fit inside of a bed frame? Would like to replace my slats with this.** A: Be sure to measure your current bed frame first. I tried to put this inside my bed frame, but this bunkie board wasn't wide enough to reach the side supports.
