The 18mm strap actually measures 17mm. It fits but putting slight tension on the strap means it detaches too easily. Perhaps the 19mm one would have fitted more snuggly. The buckle and strap are of good quality and the strap has plenty stretch for added comfort. The only small negative is the clips that clip onto the watch face are plastic and very cheap looking. The same metal as the buckle would look great and could charge a bit more.
