Not only is it of great quality, size, weight and value, but also for its appearance....This is one of those pieces that you leave on your stovetop, your woodstove or your large farmhouse kitchen table because it looks great with the rooster knob on top making it a great conversation piece as well as a focal point. Really nice enamel finish, large handles to fit my huge hands but also with the included heat mitts and edge cleats make this a purchase that i definitely recommend. I realize that the Mueller brand/reputation speaks for itself as i own several of their pieces, but, this one really has me smiling because i bought one that isn't in my usual choice of Red--and i am loving it. I may still get one of these in Red! The packaging was perfect, the oven and lid were well-wrapped and very padded, zero issues. Also, the box itself is of gifting quality, it's a nice black flip-top box, not one made from brown corrugated cardboard that you'd have to wrap to cover the unsightly. This is a weighty substantial piece, but it's balanced due to its oval length and roomy handles. Honestly, the rooster knob is really the eye catcher. The glossy enamel is great as well. Quality is #1. Do i recommend? ABSOLUTELY. I am not a compensated reviewer, I'm reviewing this product because i believe it's a great affordable investment in durability and also an overall item for multi-usage. Maintenance and cleaning are standard: No metal utensils and clean with non-abrasive cleaners and you'll be fine. Great centerpiece to show off what's inside, especially when entertaining. Really nice enamel finish, large handles to fit my huge hands but also with the included heat mitts and edge cleats make this a purchase that i definitely recommend.
