This thing has worked for well over a year in my old car and a year in my new car, without breaking. Puts my CD slot to use, lol. I would highly recommend. Very stable. Easy to keep tight too. Ordered this for my 2011 mini cooper as there is very little space to store anything and I needed somewhere to keep my phone accessible It mounts in the cd drive and holds my phone nicely I can easily charge my phone while using it the only downfall to the product is that I do have to regularly tighten the screw that holds the tension to hold it in the cd drive, it tends to loosen with vibration of the vehicle would definitely suggest it to others my husband now wants one for his own vehicle
