When this arrived I was shocked at the size. Much bigger than I expected but to be honest I don’t know why I expected smaller. This has been used a few times since I’ve purchased it. The first time I lit it the metal changed colour and I was initially worried it was going to burn through and become a hazard. Not the case. It does take a while for your coals to turn white if completely full but the heat and burn time of the coal afterwards is great. Really love using this. Only word of advice would be to make sure you have somewhere safe to put it once you’ve tipped the coals out. It stays hot and can damage the area you leave it if not sensible.Great price, well packaged and decent quality

Fantastic piece of equipment if you need to start coal for your grill

This is a sturdy chimney which provides the perfect amount of ventilation to get the charcoal burning hot! Only took about 8 minutes for the charcoal to be white and flames coming out the top. The heat resistant handle was still cool enough to pick it up with my bare hands. A great product at about half the price of the leading competitors.
