The KODAK PIXPRO WPZ2 was built for photographers who refuse to leave their camera behind when the adventure gets wet, rough, or dusty. Rated waterproof to 15 meters, shockproof from 2 meter drops, and fully dustproof, the WPZ2 thrives where standard cameras cannot survive—snorkeling sessions, kayaking rivers, skiing mountain slopes, and hiking dusty trails included.A 16MP BSI CMOS sensor captures detailed, vibrant photos above and below the surface, while 4X optical zoom provides flexible framing for close-up subjects and wider environmental shots. Built-in Wi-Fi connects to your smartphone for immediate social sharing the moment you surface. Full 1080p HD video records underwater sequences and outdoor adventures in smooth, clear detail. Compact enough to fit in a wetsuit pocket, powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for all-day use, and compatible with microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC memory cards up to 1.5TB, the WPZ2 ensures the shot that makes the adventure worth remembering is never missed.Before using the WPZ2 underwater, check that the rubber gasket is free of damage and debris, then close the battery cover tightly and lock the latch. Do not open the battery cover underwater or after the camera has been in contact with water, and do not use it below 15 meters; it stays waterproof for up to 1 hour at that depth. After use in water or near sand, rinse it with clean water with the battery cover closed, then dry it with a clean, lint-free cloth. When moving from a cold place to a warmer one, condensation can form, so wait before turning the camera on. In Auto mode the camera controls the flash automatically; the flash is not available in the Panorama scene and is set to off when Continuous Shot is on. Charge the battery for at least 4 hours before first use.
