I roughly offered it up, used the 3 velcro straps to hold it in place then pulled on the draw strings.A spot of readjustment and I made sure the drawstring, which goes all around the outside edge of the cover, was on the underside of my ironing board all the way around. I then pulled like mad on the drawstring and tied it off, then tightened up the velcro straps.Job done.It looks good and it is really nice to iron on. Mind you, my old ironing board cover was one of those cheap silver ones and if my dog didn't have a habit of munching on ironing boards I wouldn't have to have ordered a replacement cover................. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really Lovely Cover! *by W***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 October 2018* Nice and thick, well padded with felt. A bit tricky to fit, as it was a bit hard to pull the string tight, but worth the effort. You need to iron the cover on the ironing board to make it lay completely flat and to assist with pulling the string tight. Even during the fitting process the stitching securing the velcro tensioning straps has started to come undone. As this cover was more expensive than many others I was expecting a much higher quality. Before too long I expect to be searching for a new one.
