The outside of the candy is a sweet fruity flavor, and the center of the candy is a little sour and effervescent. While I enjoy these candies very much I don't give them to my friend's kids because they can be sort of sharp. A grown up knows what to do when hard candy gets a crack in it and makes a sharp edge but I wouldn't give it to a little kid. You get a pretty big bag , and I learned that the way they are assembled means sometimes you might have a few more of one flavor one time, but not the next time. I love it when there are a lot of cherry, that's my favorite. I rarely get one that's hard to unwrap due to stickiness which is something I like in a candy.
