**Q: How to seal meats witg a wet marinade?**
A: I freeze the marinated meat in a cheap bag like a sandwich bag first. Then I slip the cheap bag (opened with the open end at the bottom) into the meliese sealer bag set on gentle and moist. Has worked for me with shrimp stock. Love it!

**Q: Sealer too strong, melts bag. Am I doing something wrong?**

Rest assured, there's no need to be concerned. When you're only sealing the bag, the indicator light system will automatically switch to "vac&seal," but the machine will not initiate the vacuuming process. Just ensure that the sealing is done correctly, and everything will be fine.

I enjoy this little machine. It does a great job of sealing products inside of bags. I find that I can buy bulk meats and chop/prepare them how I like and in appropriate single meal portions and then put them in the freezer. My husband is happy because we are saving a ton of money! The wet and dry vacuum sealing functions are amazing. I like that the manufacturer sent extra of the inner components because you can just swap out a seal with another when you need to. The machine itself is compact and lightweight (so storing it is literally no problem at all - in a more modern home, this could fit in a drawer no problem). I don't have any issues using it and it does a great job of vacuum sealing and sealing in general. I do not notice any crazy heat coming off of this even after multiple uses over a small amount of time. It seems like a sturdy product. The only annoying thing is sometimes the little feet pop out of the bottom of it. I just shove them back on. I did not repurchase the bags from this manufacturer and I haven't noticed any difference. I did not enjoy the long rolls of the vacuum seal bags sent with the product because the long rolls were just confusing to me. I found the bags that were all one uniform size were easiest to use. Great for the price!
