The problem this switch solves for me is reach. It comes with an extension cable so I can get an additional 3-4 feet away from the camera and not distract the birds as much. The switch itself is simple to use, plug it in and push the button. It will also lock the button for long exposures. There's no battery to worry about and it's small enough and durable enough to stick into your pocket when not in use. All the functions of the OEM switch with the added length for a fraction of the cost = great value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple. Does what it claims. I have not tried burst mode with it. The plug fits the camera perfectly, and the separate cable extension allows for release within 2 feet of the camera or extended to shoot about 2M away.
