Review: Great walkie talkies for kids and grown-ups too! - Brilliant little walkie talkies, easy to use for those who don't want lots of buttons and unnecessary functions. My wife and I use them in our home-to-garden daily and as they are small and light they hang easy on the lanyard or can be pulled easily from a pocket. Grand kids love them when they come and they add lots of fun to games and play. Belt clip is ok but probubly unnecessary for many. Great thing is no swapping out batteries, just recharge on the many phone chargers we've collected. Charge is quick and standby if not used is longer than two days (obviously ours are still quite new). So far they seem tough and have survived the odd knock and drop. With clear line of sight the transmission is crisp to well over 2 miles, we've tested them. With buildings or other obstacles in the way they quickly get crackly but for this money they are a steal!
