The only issue we had was that it doesn't come with assembly instructions, only a diagrammatic parts list. It is not very clear at first that the shelves are "handed" -- that is, the u-shaped shelf supports (the bits that go from rim to centre) are not equidistant from each other at the rim. Rather, they are arranged in a sort of Y-shape, so that one edge of each shelf has a larger gap than the other two. Get these mixed up and the thing will not go together, no matter how hard you try (even using "brute force" as a one-star review mentions!).When you remove the shelves from the packaging, ensure they stay in the same orientation. Measure the rim sections and mark the widest gap on each shelf with a bit of masking tape to make it easier to spot while you are putting the thing together. We did ours by doing the bottom half with its 2 shelves, then the top half its 2 shelves, then putting the 2 halves together with the middle shelf. The last bit took 2 people to hold everything together while we put the screws and nuts in, and then tighten the whole unit with the allen wrench provided. Well, the company would do well to tape the packet of screws to a fixture so it doesn't drop out of the box, as mine did on picking it up. As for the comments about it not fitting together, well there is some basic geometry that some people obviously can't cope with. The shelves are not dissected into three equal sectors, so that the saucepans can easily be put on and off shelves through the wider sector. If you spin a shelf around until the fixings match the one below it, before actually trying to bolt in place then there will not be a problem. I didn't read the instructions because I have put nuts on the end of bolts before and have that pretty well mastered. The result - a good sturdy stand. Another bonus for me is that it had to fit under a cabinet. I had the hacksaw ready but as it came in two section I could move the little plastic feet to the top section and build it with just three selves.
