I presumed this was an entry level gardening tool based on the cost for people that are not avid gardeners. For soil, wood chips and garden debris (had a tree stump ground down) this was ideal. I have been using it for the last few weeks to also help break down mounds or earth (with other tools also) and redistributing the soil to even my lawn. In the mounds are some large roots that the rake often got caught on and for the most part the rake was absolutely fine. I was pushing the integrity of the tool to see how much effort was required to see the teeth start to bend and it took a bit of effort to see it flex. Overall for the price and what I needed it for it has met my expectations. ## Features - Strong steel shaft with rubber grip - Manufactured with a carbon steel head comprising 12 polished teeth - Durable rust - resistant finish - Use to break and level soil - Ultra strong, lightweight design and comfort handle ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004V2M6A0 | | Best Sellers Rank | 26,895 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 207 in Rakes | | Brand | Green Blade | | Brand Name | Green Blade | | Colour | Leaf green/brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 2,428 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05017403781028 | | Grip Material | Rubber | | Handle Material | Steel with Rubber Grip | | Handle material | Steel with Rubber Grip | | Head Material Type | Carbon Steel | | Head Size | 12 teeth | | Head material | Carbon Steel | | Item Dimensions W x H | 130W x 33H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Green Blade BB-GR101 12-Teeth Carbon Steel Garden Rake with PVC Grip - Leaf green/brown | | Manufacturer | Hamble Distribution ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | BB-GR101 | | Model Number | BB-GR101 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product dimensions | 130W x 33H centimetres | | Rake Type | Garden Rake | | Rake type | Garden Rake | | Unit Count | 1 1 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Green Blade - **Colour:** Leaf green/brown - **Handle material:** Steel with Rubber Grip - **Head material:** Carbon Steel - **Product dimensions:** 130W x 33H centimetres ## Images ![Green Blade BB-GR101 12-Teeth Carbon Steel Garden Rake with PVC Grip - Leaf green/brown - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71X0SXebEGL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can it be used to Scarifier moss in the lawn garden?** A: This is not intended for to scarify lawns but rake the moss or grass up afterwards however Amazon do have the item you need. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Darlac-Telescopic-Scarifier-Aerator-Scarifying/dp/B002GT7THA/ref=sr_1_15?crid=32N678QK7QSF1&dchild=1&keywords=scarifier+rake+with+handle&qid=1626680287&sprefix=scarifier+rake+with+%2Caps%2C202&sr=8-15 **Q: Should this rake have a bent handle? I’m 5’5 and found it to be a tad bit too short for my liking. Seems durable and study except for the rubber top to cover the handle. It slid off as I started to rake but it’s an easy fix. Less 1 star for quality control and shipping packaging (black plastic heated on). ## Frequently Bought Together - Green Blade BB-GR101 12-Teeth Carbon Steel Garden Rake with PVC Grip - Leaf green/brown - Dutch Hoe Carbon Steel Weeding Garden Soil Digging Pole 140cm Lawn Landscaping - Garden Border Digging Spade - Made From Strong Carbon Steel | Ideal Hand Tool For Weeding, Snow Cleaning & Gardening | Long Life - Strong, Durable, Long Lasting & Rust Resistant --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/53004330-green-blade-bb-gr101-12-teeth-carbon-steel-garden-rake](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/53004330-green-blade-bb-gr101-12-teeth-carbon-steel-garden-rake) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
