Review: I was very unhappy the night I purchased my new Subaru WRX on my 2 hour drive home in a hard rain. Very unnerving being a brand new car and the road was all but invisible! I had to do something so after much research on the net I performed the H11 to H9 modification with great results for the low beam then on to these for the highs. I cannot believe how the road lights up now. I am very impressed with these quality made in Germany bulbs. My WRX also uses these high beams at lower power for the day time driving lights so I have no idea how long these will last but the change out is easy and I will keep some extras in the trunk just in case. For my eyes I prefer the slightly warmer color of these standard color halogen bulbs. I am not into the hype of the new blue tint bulbs on the market. The so called whiter bulbs (that use blue tint) simply are not as bright as these. Those blue tint bulbs may be a whiter light but is not as bright and the slightly warmer color of these works best in rain / fog / snow. So, these bulbs are perfect for me and I can simply see now! Comparing this build quality to some other brands on the market the Philips simply look like a superior made product upon close inspection. The packaging is quality as well. If I get a year out of these I will be more than happy. If I only get 6 months it will still be worth it as I prefer the road to not be invisible as it was with my stock lights. Highly Recommended Product! Review: These bulbs I think K are much brighter than the oem ones but it's hard to tell without testing side by side. I have tried many bulbs and these are simply the brightest and highest quality bulbs I have found. Side by side, brighter than Sylvania silver stars and similar bulbs. Regular color (no annoying blue tint which blinds others and truly does nothing for a driver to see better). Just very bright full spectrul light. Quality european manufacuring.
