## Description

desertcart.com: British Berkefeld Doulton W9120133 Ultra Fluoride Ceramic Drinking Water Filter Candle Cartridge : Tools & Home Improvement

Review: Love our Berkefeld Water Filter - Purchased these filters to replace the ones we’ve been using. Rinse off and allow your filters to filter through water, dump the water(will taste a bit off) and the next batch of filtered water will taste fine. It is easy to rinse to clean and install. Works well and our filtered water tastes great! Worth our money.
Review: Finally a good replacement for black filters - I tried another popular brand of filters to replace my Berkey black filters but my water with the other brand tasted bad. So I decided to try Doulton. They don’t ship to the US so desertcart it is. They have a way to authenticate your filters through the website using the ID numbers that are on the filters. So you can rest assured you are getting the real deal. These filter real slow like Berkey black filters so I trust these more than my previous replacement brand. Best part is my water tastes great again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the lifespan of a British Berkefeld by Doulton ceramic filter candle?**
A: British Berkefeld ceramic filter element lifespan can vary based on usage and water quality, typically, a filter can last up to 6 months with regular use. To maximise the lifespan, clean the filter regularly and replace when performance declines.

**Q: How often should I replace the ceramic filter candle?**
A: We recommend replacing your filter every 6 months. If you notice a drop in water flow or a change in taste, it may be time to replace the filter. Check the product manual for specific recommendations for your filter model.

**Q: What level of bacteria can my British Berkefeld by Doulton Water Filter cope with?**
A: Our filter forms a physical barrier for pathogens, trapping the bacteria on the surface of the ceramic while allowing clear, mineral-rich, great-tasting water though. If your water flow lessens before 6 months we recommend that you change your filter

**Q: Can I use British Berkefeld filters in any other systems?**
A: Filters are compatible for use in Berkey, Phoenix, Purewell, Newton and other Gravity Water Filter Systems.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow! Outstanding filters for my Berkey!!!
*by K***M on March 8, 2024*

I have had my Big Berkey for at least 6 years and had been extremely frustrated when I couldn’t get filters directly from the manufacturer. I wish I had known about these Berkefeld filters from the UK. They are far superior to the Berkey filters that were double the price! My water tastes better than it ever did before and I am noticing I don’t have to do as many rinsing between regular cleaning! No funky sediment and biofilm like before! Superior filters imho!
