The copper connector is very high quality that has a strong spring holding it closed. Take leather is very nice, soft (for being just out of the box) and I’m sure will only get softer with use. I appreciate the braided ends, holding a the copper connector and forming the leash handle.From past experience with leather leashes that use both stitches and rivets, the braiding that’s replaced those stitches and rivets, is much better. Stitches and rivets have always eventually come loose with use. I expect to get many years of use from this high quality leather leash. This is a premium leather leash in every way, at an affordable price.
