A: Yes if it is mounted vertically to a wall and not on the roof line. Make sure that the shutters open and close easily so you don't get surprise with water coming in.

**Q: can you please confirm the amp draw on this product?  I want to use a light socket plug adapter (3-prong) and do want to exceed 15 amps.   thank you**
A: I believe you mean you don’t want to draw more than 15amps?! I can tell you that i have a 12 gage 100’ extension cord running from a 20 amp garage ground fault plug to my greenhouse. This is running 2 of the fans you r concerned about and is also running 3 floor fans and a radio with no problems! I think you will be fine!

**Q: Will the 14" (ilg8sf14v-t) fan fit in between standard 16" wall stud spacing? i can cut ro of 14 1/2" x 14 !/2 " for fan housing**
